Comparing with India and Thai airport, Yangon Airport is unique small model. After arrive at the airport, the entrance is easy to recognize, you just go only one way to the entrance and at the outside there are a lot of taxi waiting at the outside. Please take care not to take a photo in the airport compound.


Entry Procedure
1. Arrive at airport.
2. Please show your passport and Entry card, the immigration will stamp in the passport. Please keep the Entry card until you leave from Myanmar.
3. Please wait and choose your luggage at the Roller machine.
4. Please fill up the format of tax certificate.
5. Come out the meeting point. The guide waits at the entrance and hold the signboard.


Departure Procedure
Now-a-days, a person who holds the flight ticket only could get a permission to enter the airport.　The airport staff will assist you if you have any inconvenience.　You could not bring Myanmar currency (Kyats).
1. Have to settle airport tax 10 $.
2. Enter the airport counter, check your flight number and check-in at the counter. Settle the departure tax and confer the luggage. Double check again your ticket and inside description.
3. Have to wait at the gate of your respective terminal.　There is a counter to exchange Myanmar currency to US Dollar.
4. Listen the announcement that you could board on the plane.
